OCIS has a team of two staff delivering services for NHS employees on behalf of the Oxfordshire NHS Trusts.
Working with employees
The NHS Childcare Coordinators work with NHS human resources managers and individual employees providing expertise and advice on:
- all childcare choices
- childcare voucher schemes and salary sacrifice
- maternity/paternity benefits and parental leave
- tax credits
- early education grants
- work/life balance policies
- flexible working
Working with childcare providers
Childcare Coordinators work with providers of childcare, supporting the development of new provision that will be accessible to NHS employees, and arranging for pre-bookings at nurseries and holiday playschemes
